Nicola Giocoli

Nicola
Giocoli (Ba Florence, MSc Warwick, PhD Florence) is associate
professor of economics at the University of Pisa. He has published
several papers in international journals and four books, including
Modeling Rational Agents. From Interwar Economics to Early Modern
Game Theory (Elgar 2003) and Predatory Pricing in Antitrust
Law and Economics. A Historical Perspective (Routledge 2014). A
Marco Fanno scholar, he has been awarded the 2002 Joseph Dorfman Best
Dissertation prize of the History of Economics Society and the 2004
Adolph Blanqui Best Book prize of the European Society for the
History of Economic Thought. His research interests include the
history of antitrust law and economics and the history of game and
decision theory.
