Pedro Garcia Duarte
Pedro Garcia Duarte is professor of economics at the University of São Paulo (FEA-USP), Brazil. His research interests are on the history of postwar economics, in particular macro and monetary economics, with an emphasis on how modeling strategies and techniques had their use stabilized over time. He has published articles on this subject in leading journals of the field and a few book chapters. In 2012 he co-edited with his colleague Gilberto Tadeu Lima a volume on the history of microfoundations of macroeconomics, titled Microfoundations Reconsidered: the relationship of micro and macroeconomics in historical perspective and published by Edward Elgar.
